May Prayer Letter

Happy Easter! Evangeline and I have almost recovered from the holiday but we will never forget what God did this month. We had the honor of performing and then sharing the gospel at 3 Easter outreaches. During the shows, I broke and restored a vase to illustrate how God restores our lives. Over 45 people prayed to start a relationship with God. Our favorite show was at an urban ministry center called Restore Orlando. Read our prayer letter to find out why.

We are so grateful for your prayers. Between directing our current 8 interns, preparing for the 26 who were accepted to come next year, performing at outreaches and working on Campus Crusade for Christ’s largest technical redesign to date, we are often at the end of our own strength. This is an incredibly busy time. Please pray that we would be filled with God’s Spirit. We know God does not need us (understatement!) and we want to have the wisdom to know when to work and when to rest.

God is doing so much and we are grateful to join with you in telling people about Jesus. Please, let us know if we can pray for you. We thank God for your support.

Broekn Vases and Easter Eggs

Thank you so much for praying for us. The last month has been a busy one. Evangeline and I were on the staff team for a conference and I had the opportunity to present the gospel to about 1,000 people during an illusion show. There is no way I could have done everything without your prayers.

Right now, Evangeline and I are in Nebraska. I will be speaking about being filled with the Holy Spirit at Glenwood Community Church on Sunday. Please pray that I would be filled with God’s Spirit!

This Saturday, we will have an open house. We are hoping to connect with many of our prayer and financial supporters. You are a part of our team and we are grateful to you. One of the best parts of being missionaries is the friendships God has given us through our support team. If you will be in Omaha, it would be a treat to see you. The open house is at Evangeline’s parents’ house (1330 S. 79th St., Omaha, NE 68124) from 2-5 p.m.

On a even more personal note, please pray that our family is safe as we travel and speak. Evangeline and I love Annada more than we knew we could. We are asking God to keep her healthy. She is a beautiful girl (we are biased) and everywhere we go people reach out to touch her. If the swine flu continues to spread, we would love you to pray that we have wisdom to know what events it is wise to bring her to or when to fly home.
