We are so grateful for your prayers. Between directing our current 8 interns, preparing for the 26 who were accepted to come next year, performing at outreaches and working on Campus Crusade for Christ’s largest technical redesign to date, we are often at the end of our own strength. This is an incredibly busy time. Please pray that we would be filled with God’s Spirit. We know God does not need us (understatement!) and we want to have the wisdom to know when to work and when to rest.

God is doing so much and we are grateful to join with you in telling people about Jesus. Please, let us know if we can pray for you. We thank God for your support.

Broekn Vases and Easter Eggs

Right now, Evangeline and I are in Nebraska. I will be speaking about being filled with the Holy Spirit at Glenwood Community Church on Sunday. Please pray that I would be filled with God’s Spirit!

This Saturday, we will have an open house. We are hoping to connect with many of our prayer and financial supporters. You are a part of our team and we are grateful to you. One of the best parts of being missionaries is the friendships God has given us through our support team. If you will be in Omaha, it would be a treat to see you. The open house is at Evangeline’s parents’ house (1330 S. 79th St., Omaha, NE 68124) from 2-5 p.m.

On a even more personal note, please pray that our family is safe as we travel and speak. Evangeline and I love Annada more than we knew we could. We are asking God to keep her healthy. She is a beautiful girl (we are biased) and everywhere we go people reach out to touch her. If the swine flu continues to spread, we would love you to pray that we have wisdom to know what events it is wise to bring her to or when to fly home.

PS: Annada is a constant source of laughter in our life. She’s just recently learned how to blow raspberries and giggle. You can see short videos of her doing both at her Web site, www.annada.marcandevangeline.com.

My co-workers had wrapped every pen and piece of candy in my candy dish individually. They left me a foil “Welcome Back” mat and a to-do list. Every other item on the list was “change baby.” (You can see a picture of my desk below.)

It was a fun start to a serious job. Once I got my computer and chair uncovered, my first day back was also my first day as a Siebel administrator. This additional role is a challenge. I don’t have a background in Siebel, so I am learning as fast as I can. Please pray God gives me the ability to pick up the new job quickly and that this new system will help Campus Crusade overcome some of the problems and limitations of our current donation system.

I try to balance my new role and family by coming home for lunch most days. Annada breaks out in a huge smile when she sees me. It is priceless!
