The Ministry of Marc and Evangeline Vergo

December prayer letter: surgery, OSP and more.

Filed under: Prayer Letters — Marc at 7:52 pm on Monday, December 10, 2007

Thank you so much for praying for us. This month there is a lot going on:

  1. Evangeline was asked to be the associate/women’s director for the 2008 Orlando Summer Project! We will both be on the leadership team for this 10 week college internship program. I went on OSP in 2001. It was a major part of our decision to become missionaries, so we know first hand what a life changing experience it can be. There is already so much to plan and we would love your prayers.

  2. Evangeline is going to have her gall bladder removed this Tuesday (December 11). She has been very sick and lost twenty pounds. Evangeline is staying with her parents in Omaha for the surgery because it was difficult to find a recommended surgeon in Orlando.

  3. Would you consider giving an end-of-the-year financial gift? Leading OSP, along with Evangeline’s surgery, will require funding beyond our normal ministry expenses. Also, for tax-purposes, December is a great time to give a special gift.

If you can give, please visit our Campus Crusade Web site: https://give.ccci.org/give?Action=ViewDetail&Desig=0550510&pp=Search+Results&Desig=0550510

Every year God has blessed us with enough financial gifts from ministry partners to meet our ministry needs. We appreciate each prayer and gift you have sent. Thank you.

Please read our prayer letter for specific prayer requests about OSP and Evangeline’s surgery. Plus, it contains pictures of William, Evangeline’s brother, coming home from Iraq!

Merry Christmas,

Marc and Evangeline

I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the Gospel… Philippians 1:3
